Who would be the next winger? or No one?

Arsenal are hoping to sign a winger to replace Nicolas Pepe and substitution of Saka this week, but are still in struggle to get closer to a deal with Wolves’ Pedro Neto who is very popular with North Londoners recently. Before Neto, Gunners made a lot of names in their list including Gakpo, Rafinha and Zaha who used to be the main target before Pepe. But Saka is still the one and only option for the first 11.

Arsenal are certainly interested in the Portuguese winger Neto, but right now they are not close to bringing him to the Emirates. David Ornstein of The Athletic first reported that Arsenal would only make a proper offer if they can afford it and believe it is going to improve their squads.

Even after Pepe’s departure, Ornstein still believing that Mikel Arteta’s side remained in the market and still opening to opportunities, they are not close to any new signings.

Arsenal fanbase are on “the hope” that Leaving Winger means the Gunners are guaranteed to sign a replacement, but reliable reporters and influential parties are saying the opposite. In reality, the Gunners are quite far from signing a new one.

We are seeing many names for the winger position but no surprise even if Arteta will move on with this squad. Because we all have seen how he managed Arsenal last year without a proper sticker and midfielder. He will never compromise for what he wants to do.

Some news stating that Marquinhos is also an option for Saka’s side. There are really many possibilities still there.
